Even though Route 66 was bypassed years ago, most of the old route still exists, all paved. And virtually all of it is easily negotiated by all but the largest RVs. Thanks to the efforts of national and state Route 66 associations, tourist traffic has increased on the historic highway allowing many businesses of yesteryear to carry on. You will love this guide.
